About JTREL
Introduction:
The Journal of Teaching and Research in English Literature (JTREL), launched in July 2009, is an international double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal dedicated to supporting scholarly exchange among teachers and researchers of Literature written in English. The journal is published online four times a year by the Literature Special Interest Group of English language Teachers’ Association of India (ELTAI), Chennai, India.
Focus and Scope:
The journal seeks to publish original, quality research papers in all areas of Literary, Cultural and Translation Studies in English.
Types of Articles:
The Journal of Teaching and Research in English Literature publishes following types of articles:
- Full-length research papers
- Book reviews
- Author interviews, and
- Poems
Publication Frequency
The Journal of Teaching and Research in English Literature is published four times a year: January, April, July and October. Articles can be submitted throughout the year. However, articles received before the following dates will be considered for the corresponding issues:
- 15 October - for January issue
- 15 January - for April issue
- 15 April - for July issue
- 15 July - for October issue
